Girl from Nowhere

Season 1 of this Thai language series released in 2018, followed by a second season in 2021. The story centers around Nanno, an enigmatic girl who transfers to different schools and has the ability to expose everyone's different stories of hypocrisy. Season 1 consists of 13 episodes, whereas season 2 consists of 8.
Pooja Anbalagan, a 21-year-old student states that she truly enjoys the plot and the variation of episodes.
“It shows humans’ true colours, like hatred, jealousy and that they'll do anything selfishly for themselves without caring about the consequences,” she says. The mystery anthology thriller series was inspired by storylines based on true events where schoolgirls were victimised. However the series aims to portray how ultimately in the end, the victims become the victors.

The Crown

This visually pleasing, well-directed show depicts the life of Queen Elizabeth II beginning from her wedding in 1947 to Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh up until the early 21st century.
The first season released in 2016, with a total of 10 episodes. Season 2 followed in 2017, accompanied by season 3 two years later in 2019. The fourth and latest season released in 2020. All four seasons boast 10 episodes, each one spanning 47-60 minutes. Season 5 will be soon to follow, with filming having begun in July 2021.
“The show is extremely riveting and kept me hooked all the way. In particular, I enjoyed season 4 the most as it introduced Princess Diana, one of the most iconic figures at the time,” says Lora Sharmally, a 46-year-old avid fan of the show.

Bridgerton

The drama takes place in the Regency Era in London of 1813, featuring the aristocratic Bridgerton family. The first season of the series follows Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the family as she makes her debut on to Regency London's competitive marriage market. The first season comprises 8 episodes, each with a run time of 57-72 minutes.
Leen Ahmed, a 21-year-old who was quick to pursue the series, states that she has always been enamored with regency romances in history and the society they had carved in England at the time.
“I have no words to truly depict how much I enjoyed the series. The characters were so marvelously portrayed and the emotions so very high-strung,” the enthusiastic fan said.
