KUALA LUMPUR - The Fire Journey Ceramics Exhibition, held at SGM Malaysia on 10 June, left art enthusiasts and ceramics connoisseurs in awe with its breathtaking display of creativity and craftsmanship.


Vicky Ho, the Director of the Ceramics Exhibition, shared her vision for the event. "We wanted to create a platform where artists could showcase their incredible skills and express their unique perspectives through ceramics," she said.


"The Fire Journey Ceramics Exhibition aims to inspire and ignite a passion for ceramics among visitors."

The Expedition of Fire received overwhelming praise from visitors, who expressed their admiration for the artists and their works. The event successfully fostered a deeper appreciation for ceramics as a medium of artistic expression and provided a platform for artists to connect with a broader audience.


Nelly Ng Chen Yan’s Ceramic Production


Nelly Ng Chen Yan, a renowned ceramic artist and founder of the Ceramic Circle Gallery, is one of the many talented artists featured in the Malaysian Fire Tour Ceramics Exhibition. Chen Yan's works are inspired by nature and traditional Chinese influence, showcasing her exceptional attention to detail and artistic vision. 


She explains, "Ceramics bring my imagination to life. I hope my works can inspire others to appreciate the rich heritage and boundless possibilities of this ancient art form."


As the exhibition concluded, the organizers and participants expressed their hopes for a lasting impact. Vicky Ho concluded, "We aim to continue promoting ceramics as a vibrant and evolving art form, nurturing a community of artists and enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty and complexity of this craft."
