Experience mural painting and spreading an artistic atmosphere

In order to fully reflect the characteristics of Chinese restaurants and attract more consumers, Ben Wei (a Chinese Restaurant) invited Taylor's University Art Club to participate in the wall painting design. 

The content of the wall painting is selected from Chinese plants, with lotus flowers as the main painting content, and integrates local characteristics. Wang Wenzhang and his team certain the pattern and color according to the size of the wall, draws the outline of the lotus flower with chalk, fills it with various colors, and finally outlines the details.

"The line drawing part is very important to the overall look expression, which requires me to draw more carefully." Wang Wenzhang said that they designed the drawing content in advance according to the theme of the restaurant, and then completed it step by step, and provided the restaurant with many paintings to decorate. 

It is understood that wall painting is a very complex technology, painters will encounter various challenges in the process of painting. On the one hand, bad weather and environment, affected by high temperature, if don’t have enough air conditioning, wall painting is easily melted by heat. And if you can't keep the painting environment clean, it can easily lead to uneven works and affect the beauty. On the other hand, there is the cost of painting, such as materials, transportation, painting supplies, food, etc. Fortunately, Wang Wenzhang has a lot of experience in wall painting, and he can easily solve these problems. 

In order to give the members a better experience, the owner of the restaurant prepared painting tools and meals for them, and cleaned the environment very clean, while providing a comfortable rest area for the members.

The process of wall painting is very smooth, whether it is sketching the outline of the lotus at the beginning or painting the final area, there are no difficult things to solve. Just because the wall is wet and the speed of pigment drying is not the same, there is a problem of uneven coloring, but after re-grading, polishing the wall, and opening the window for ventilation, this problem is solved.

In fact, the biggest challenge for Wang Wenzhang in wall painting is that he feels that in the face of some higher walls, he needed some tools to complete the drawing of higher walls, and he had to overcome his fear of heights. In addition, there is the coordination of the team, for him the difficult to deal with is the team's cooperation, everyone in the team has different ideas, it is difficult for everyone to reach agreement and compromise, and it is difficult for him to assign a lot of work.

After team negotiation, everyone has a clear division of labor, gives full play to their individual skills, contributes their own ideas and ideas, and team members help each other, and finally present a perfect wall painting.

"As a student engaged in amateur painting, I want to make some contributions through my own small efforts to reflect my value."
