One of the participants was the Shikin Animal Rescue Team, an independent rescue team dedicated to helping animals in need.
Team leader, Shikin, highlighted their commitment to ensuring proper adoption."We are a group of independent rescuers, not blind to animals in need," she said.
"We will make sure that the adapters are right for the animals. We interview each adopter before consent and monitor the status of the animals after adoption.”

Shikin's Team Animal Rescuer focuses on saving animals such as cats, dogs, horses, and monkeys. During the event, they showed the 40 cats they adopted, giving them a warm home and a second chance to live.
In addition to animal rescuers, popular pet brands such as KeeGan's Pet also appeared at the show. The brand KeeGan highlights the importance of participating in such activities.
"Access to new potential customers for broader brand exposure and awareness," Kee Chen said.
"Our social media and advertising material helps us gain more exposure and get noticed by potential customers, turning them into our regulars.”

KeeGan's Pet aims to educate clients about the factors involved in selecting a quality and healthy puppy.
Their presence at the Expo enabled them to have face-to-face conversations with attendees, thereby boosting customer confidence and potentially generating higher sales.

The Malaysian Pet Fair not only provided a platform for animal rescuers to find a permanent home for their rescued animals but also offered pet brands an opportunity to connect with pet lovers and promote responsible pet owners.
