The Taylor's Animal Welfare Society (TAWS) has committed to animal welfare volunteer activities after a two-month break.

The already difficult living conditions of stray animals were exacerbated in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown, prompting the organization to continue its related animal welfare activities to alleviate the problem.
TAWS aims to give a voice to the plight of animal welfare shelters and bring stray dogs and cats into the public eye.
Following the last collaboration with the Nature Club, the All Paws on Deck event on 20 March focused on providing assistance to stray animals and was held at the Fight for Animal Welfare Shelter in Selangor. Event members welcomed and helped bathe and clean the shelter for the fur babies.
Nur Hanani Aisyah, a volunteer who participated in the event said, "The environment of the shelter is very safe and comfortable, and the kennel is also very spacious. Volunteers have the opportunity to help clean up. "

Despite the fact that this was a voluntary event, the participants still experienced joy from it. The members played with the animals in the shelter, which is crucial for their psychological development.
TAWS president Thiiben Krishnan said the club was interested in considering other ways to help the shelter in the future, such as finding breeders for the animals.
The club is expected to hold a fundraiser this June to raise money for the shelter to keep it afloat and save more animals.
Since its inception in 2019, TAWS has indirectly and directly helped eight animal shelters, involving approximately 1,000 students. Despite the challenges they face along the way, they never stop on their journey to foster a sense of social responsibility for animals.

Thiiben pointed out that these animals were actually abandoned animals on the road and that this sanctuary had actually saved them and kept them here.
In this regard, Hanani also believes that "Stray animals should not be treated differently, and pet owners should not simply abandon them if they no longer want to care for them."
