Sky Adventure Club held the SKYCHELLA Bazaar event at Taylor’s University from May 18 to 22. It brings a music festival style activity atmosphere to the campus, attracting many students to participate.

There are handmade jewellery booths, special drinks and DJ music performances at the scene. Many students will take photos, listen to music and visit the market after class. The atmosphere on the scene is very lively.
This event was inspired by the globally-renowned Coachella Music Festival. The organizers hope to bring a music festival vibe and market elements to the campus, and the hot weather also makes the whole theme more suitable.
The organizer said that such fundraising activities have become a club tradition.
Cheng Kai hin is a Business Administration student and a member of the Sky Adventure Club. “It's like a tradition in our club, so almost every year we have to do this event. It's basically our to found our signature event.” He said.
He also said that beverage sales are the main source of income, and jewellery such as bracelets and necklaces are also sold on the spot.
In order to create the atmosphere of the music festival, the club has prepared many live decorations. However, the process of preparing for the event is not easy.
“Definitely getting everyone to work together.” The organizer said, “The props really took us quite some time. But then it ended up that the weather did not do us justice either. And the recipe for the drinks also took quite some time.”
Skyler Tan Wei Lin said that she went to SKYCHELLA Bazaar with her friends that day. Because she heard that there were many food stalls, performances and interesting activities on the scene.
“What attracted me the most was the variety of food and the lively performances. I also wanted to experience the overall vibe of the event.” she said.
She described the atmosphere of the scene as very lively, and the music and decoration also made the whole event more energetic.
“My favourite part of the event so far is trying different foods from the stalls and watching the live performances. It has been a really enjoyable experience.” she added.
Although there are many challenges in the preparation of the event, SKYCHELLA Bazaar still successfully brings students a different campus activity experience.
