Initiated by Vinda Malaysia, the photo competition is open to all college and university students between 18 to 24 years old.

Targeted to all Malaysians, the photo competition is being held to commemorate the 64 years of Malaysia’s independence through the lens of photography.

Those who are interested in the contest are encouraged to use their creativity in capturing and delivering their potential prize winners.

Photos will be judged on their appearance, creativity, originality and social impact and there are cash prizes worth RM1500 to be won.

“The aim of the photo contest is to create awareness on the importance of unity and humanity

during challenging times. Capturing the spirit, sights and scenes of how our nation have pulled through Covid-19 pandemic together thus far,” Teressa Thoo, Assistant HR and Manager for Vinda said.

The top 10 entries will be shortlisted and one out of them will be awarded the “People’s Choice Award”.

Participants of the shortlisted entries will be announced by 2 August followed by the announcement of the winner on 20 August.
