EXO's sixth world tour will land in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, sparking a frenzy among fans

It was on the 20th day of June when the South Korean male group EXO held the sixth world tour concert named “EXO PLANET #6 ExhOrizon” in Kuala Lumpur, where they came back to perform for the first time in seven years. Despite the intense heat, fans thronged in large numbers at the venue to cheer their heroes.

According to Chloe Tan, an 22-year-old EXO fan, she started following EXO ever since her secondary school years which means nine years. As soon as she heard about the concert, she immediately purchased one.

“Seven years ago, during their previous visit to Malaysia, I was still in school and didn’t have enough money to buy a ticket. But this time now that I finally have the money, I made sure I could attend it as I had been waiting for so many years”, she said.

However, Chloe revealed that what she anticipated the most from the concert was the exciting feeling of cheering for her idol group and singing together with them amid other Malaysian fans of EXO.

Another university student aged 21 named Sarah Lim was able to grab herself a ticket too. Sarah was an ardent fan of the group who had been following it for eight years, so she said that she became really excited after finding out about the tour and informed her friends about it right away.

"I would definitely try my best to purchase a ticket regardless of the price and any obstacles even if I hadn’t got the official tickets at once because I didn’t want to miss such an opportunity," she declared.

Although ticket prices were not cheap, these students believed that the ability to see EXO performing live in Malaysia was something unique and tried to save money beforehand.

From the various conversations on social media and also from the fans who were interviewed, it is clear that one of the main factors for the immense popularity of EXO amongst Malaysian fans is the quality of the music they perform, their stage charisma, and also the strong connection they have established with their fans over the years.

Even though the concert has now ended, many fans claim that the performance still lingers in their minds, and they eagerly await the return of EXO to Malaysia to meet up with their fans once more.
