For the students of Taylor’s School of Fashion Design, nothing could be more exciting than successfully holding a fashion show in March.

With the theme of "environmental protection", the fashion show displayed nearly 30 sets of themed clothing on the spot, facing the fashion circle and the Malaysian government, fully demonstrating the charm of "environmental protection and fashion collision".

The fashion show reflects the original intention of protecting the environment, advocating people to cultivate green environmental awareness, while adhering to the concept of sustainable fashion, presenting a "green fashion show" for Taylor's students.

The Western fashion trend is menacing, so students here pay attention to diversity and some more traditional elements, which on this basis, students should also reflect the theme of "environmental protection" in clothing.Among the aspects these fashion designs considered were, how to make clothing more designed, how to make environmental protection and fashion coexist in clothing, and how to reduce the use of materials?

Marcus said, "I had a lot of ideas when I got the proposal, but when I saw the restrictions on fabric, I got the idea that clothing combines environmental protection and fashion, but it is difficult for me to have control over the fabric."

“During my swim I had an idea - Can I combine a swimsuit with a wedding dress?” The former has less fabric, the latter is simple and stylish.

"In the end, this design took the stage, interpreting the fashion and trend temperament in environmental protection, which is also in line with today‘s pursuit of design and beauty.

The designer uses a minimalist form to bring nearly 30 clothing shapes, from design, material selection and production to each link to the concept of "ecological environmental protection".

It is integrated into the design, emphasizing environmental protection and ecological balance. The overall shape uses more recycled materials and recycled fabrics, and a large number of second-hand decorations are used to decorate clothing.

More dark colors, such as black, dark blue, etc., tell people the harm of ecological environmental damage, and inspire people to pay attention to environmental mostly comes from life, the same clothing design also comes from life.

Steffi said "My design is based on a senior of the American NDG; she gave me some inspiration to choose the design direction of climate change.

I read the information to understand the natural phenomenon of climate change, and I take global warming as the background of my clothing design," she added.

She takes ecological imbalance as the soul of clothing, combining environmental awareness and contemporary fashion, presenting a sense of caution.

"I imagined my dress as an iceberg, and the white lace texture was covered with snow on the iceberg, and on this basis I created a triangular patch to create the effect of ice cracking, and the clothes drooped to create a state of melting iceberg."

She says she wants to combine environmental protection with clothing to express new fashion trends with connotations of environmental protection.
