How university students adopt e-learning for study during pandemic

During the first MCO, many students had to adapt to e-Learning, despite it being less encouraging than physical classes.
After MCO 2.0, students have been studying e-learning for more than 1 year, and they are adapted with e-learning and have found their own learning way of studying online.
Social media used for formal academic communication are Facebook which was the most frequently used social media for formal academic communication by teaching assistants (100%) on a daily basis based on research by MDPI.
Eva Chia , a student from Tar University College said, “ in this pandemic period, students and lecturers can share study materials through social networking platforms like Facebook or online websites.”
“Learning has gone beyond the classroom in this digital age, students can learn even at home with their own devices and discuss their learning in various social media,” Chia Said.
Another student from Inti University College Subang, Ng Zi Chin said, “Social media keeps me updated. My lecturers are usually using social media like Facebook and Whatsapp, since now everyone looks into their social media accounts very frequently for updates.”
Jocelyn Ng, a secondary school student said, “this is also an effective method of individual learning, especially during this pandemic, we could learn whenever we want without a fixed schedule! ”
“As soon as you learn your most effective ways to study, you can start learning at your own pace and based on your own preferences,” Ng added.
