TLDC: Resurgence Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Taylor’s Dance Club (TLDC) has been dancing and grooving for a decade, and with its tenth anniversary coming up, it’s a no-brainer that they're going to be showcasing something big!

The dance club had decided to put up an event series consisting of showcasing, performances, online workshops, and many more for a duration of one month leading up to the day of the anniversary.

Due to the on-going pandemic, TLDC were stripped of their opportunities to get together and create new choreography.

Worried that their passion would soon die out, they all came together and created Resurgence, a way to show that they will always be dedicated to dancing.

Their open ceremony is free for anyone who wants to join in and watch the celebrations.

Later on, their throwback week will provide watchers to see just how far the club has come. From competitions and rehearsals to special guests- the old board of directors, Arvin Tang, Janice Hans, and many more will be making an appearance as well.

The club’s workshop will also be taking place during the weeks leading up to the finale and will be hosted by none other than Faris Azim, well-known dance choreographer and instructor, who will be mainly teaching choreography and passing down some words of advice.

Tickets are starting at RM40, but offers such as buying two and getting the third for 15% offare options for those with friends who want to tag along.

Then for the finale of the month-long event, the Resurgence showcase includes 10 breathtaking performances that describe life throughout Covid-19 through the form of dance for all to see for free!

We can’t wait to see what the TLDC has in store for us once the pandemic is over!
